This is our opportunity to ensure that the voices of every branch, every department, and every seniority level are heard.
The Shop Steward is the most important role in our organization. You are the first line of defense for your colleagues and the “face” of the union in your workplace.
We are currently looking for volunteers across all YVL locations who are:

To ensure our union is truly democratic, we are preparing for our first formal leadership elections. We will be establishing a structure that includes:
We are building this from the ground up. You don't need “years of experience” in labor law to lead—you only need a commitment to your coworkers and a belief in fairness.
Whether you want to run for a board seat, serve as a Steward, or simply help organize a holiday gathering, there is a place for you here.
“The Union is all of us. Let's build something that lasts.”
